How to fix damaged A13 CPU on iPhone 11? - Solution!

The iPhone 11 won't turn on because of the damaged A13 CPU, how to fix this damaged 13 CPU on the iPhone 11? Firstly, we need to disassemble the iPhone 11. Secondly, observe the A13 CPU on the iPhone 11 motherboard. Thirdly, analyze faults. Fourthly, fix the problem. Finally, test the iPhone 11.

Firstly, disassemble the iPhone 11.

Use screwdrivers and other phone opening tools to disassemble the iPhone 11, remove the iPhone 11 display assembly, disconnect the iPhone 11 battery, and then take out the iPhone 11 motherboard.

Secondly, observe the A13 CPU.

Put iPhone 11 motherboard under a Black Trinocular Microscope to observe it, there is a small hole between the A13 CPU and the motherboard, which means the A13 CPU and motherboard doesn't connected properly.

Thirdly, analyze the fault.

Remove the A13 CPU from the iPhone 11 motherboard, and then start to handle the A13 CPU lower part.

Use BGA graver blade to remove the green UV oil on the CPU, and keep scratching to check if there any circuits are broken. Clean the scraped part on the A13 CPU with PCB cleaner, and then use digital multimeter to measure the resistance value, after measurement, the resistance value of the A13 CPU is normal, and the circuit lines are fine.

Fourthly, fix the problem.

Use soldering iron to clean the solder pad, and then we are going to handle the A13 CPU.

Use BGA blade to clean the CPU, apply some green UV oil to the scraped part to protect it, use a UV light to cure it. Now we need to reball the A13 CPU.

Attach A13 CPU to the A13 CPU reballing stencil, apply some solder paste, and then use hot air gun to blow it, once done, install it back the motherboard.

Finally, test the iPhone 11.

Now assemble the iPhone 11 and test it. Press the iPhone power button, after few seconds, the Apple appears normally, and the iPhone 11 is turned on successfully.

After get into the IOS system, test the functions on the iPhone 11, all functions tested are normal.
